:hail: hello all Attached are a couple photos of a 2000 off center penny. This is one of my favorite errors in my late grandfathers collection. He collected mainly errors in US coins. Im not sure what he enjoyed most....Collecting them, or torturing me as a kid with making me look without touching. I would like to know about this coins error, and if it is worth anything. Also Id like to know if there is a place I can visit and learn more about coin errors. The collection is large, with a wide range of different type errors. All the info I can get on the subject would be fantastic. Thank you Christy
I'd guess that it has a value of a couple of dollars. To learn more about errors investigate the CONECA website. There is a wealth of info there, have fun!

A 2000 dated Off center struck cent is worth about $4.00 but I've seen them go for as much as $10.00 on Ebay. Have Fun, Bill
