    That would be a gorgeous 67 if it were not for that ding on the steps. Now, maybe a 65?

    I think that the coin's surfaces have been doctored. There seems to have been at least a cleaning. A spot removed near the F in Five Cents and what originally looked like die polish lines to me seem to be like some kind of whizzing or polishing. The surfaces have no flow lines. I can't say for sure, but I don't like it. I won't place a value on it because if offered to me, I'd pass on this coin.

    I have also never seen a ding across the steps quite like this one. Almost looks intentional.

    I need to go to bed now... Paranoia makes me sleepy... lol

    The ding on the steps is unfortunate and will eliminate the chance of a full step designation, but I think the coin still deserves MS67. Really nice photos btw.
