It's a Chinese cash coin cast during the reign of Emperor Gao Zong (1736-1795) of the Qing (Ch'ing) dynasty.

The inscription on the obverse side (right image) reads qian long tong bao. Qian long was the reign title of Emperor Gao Zong.

The reverse side (left image) is written in Manchu script and indicates that the coin was cast at the Board of Revenue mint in Peking (Beijing).

Your coin is very similar to this qian long tong bao coin except that your coin was cast at a different mint.

These coins were cast in very large quantities and, therefore, are only worth a dollar or so. However, they serve as very nice historical artifacts of ancient Chinese culture.
