I'll bet you there's no way the coin you receive looks like the one pictured.

Could be though the deal with the commem's was as advertised. The 6.95 shipping kind of sours the deal a little though

According to Roger Burdette in his Red Book of Peace Dollars, the 1925 is still one of the most common of the entire series. Knowing that Roger is a stickler for detail, he would not have made this statement if, as the seller of these coins says, "only 10% have survived from the WWII melts". This seller is full of crapola.

My point was that, it will be a 1925 Peace, but not as high a grade as the coin shown. The coin shown appears to be a very high grade, worth a lot more than $44.

Would you rather have them wrap it in one 8-1/2x11 sheet of typing paper with scotch tape sealing it, stuff that in a 10c envelope and put a 45c stamp on it? Forget about delivery confirmation, signature confirmation or insurance, I just want it sent to me cheaply and I don't care if it is damaged or lost in transit or not.

LOL, no but I have to add that in to the cost factor is all I meant. I looked up some survival estimate stats on the year and they are: MS60 or Better 750,000 with a rarity of 1.3. I have no idea what that means tough ;-)
