Hi everyone was wondering if you could help me out with this 1. Lookes like parts of the surface are peeling off. Is this an error if so does it have any value or is it just dammaged?
ones that nice i have seen close on ebay for 5- 15$ Lamination errors are common for the 20-30's wheat cents but not as common on 60's coinage so someone might pay a decent prem for it
I remember finding a few lamination error coins many years ago, although I didn't know they were lamination errors, or errors at all, I just thought they were damaged coins (This was before my coin collecting days, but they stuck out to me so I remember them)
mercrazy if anyone doubts its value from $5 - $15 dollars do a completed search 8.94 http://cgi.ebay.com/1-1913-S-LINCOL...91?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item27b9a6785b 7.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/HUGE-LINCOLN-CE...22?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item3f08b6a72a thats just a few from the last few days that closed.... one VERY SIMILAR TO YOURS ( 1963-d sold around december.).. I know becuase it was mine : ) the auction closed at 12.29 cents with free shipping If you have good feed back with nice pictures it will do between 5-15 dollars $5 average,$10 great ,$15 someone got carried away .... but if your not the ebay person then just selling it for a few bucks to mer crazy is a nice thing to do
yes abe, prices range diff from coin to coin... from what I have noticed the ones with " flaking cracks " appearing as if the were peeling off the coin in chunks seem to bring more money then some of the others
And some people feel they are worth alot more than everyone else; http://cgi.ebay.com/1909-S-MINT-ERR...38?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item27b8fc4e6e
