I have never saw this bill before. I can't find it in my 28th addition standard catalog of US paper money book. Does anyone know what the prices are on these notes?

Also we should make a topic with the different nicknames (such as woodchopper, jackass, rainbow, technicolor, porthole) for bills. Don't know if I have seen a topic explaining what each is. Might be helpful.

As a paper money novice, I would love to see a thread for newbies with explanations for common abbreviations, grades, etc. Everybody's been very helpful here, but I feel funny clogging up the forum with every single question I have.

    A Treasury note & a gold certificate.
The $20 is worth around $4,000
    The $10 around $140.00

Don't worry about asking questions! It takes a while to pick up on the jargon used, especially if you are a novice. Seeing it over and over again gives you a better understanding of why things are called what they are. I collect U.S. notes which are foreign to me and I still have a lot to learn. I learn something new everyday and it just expands my interest.

There are a lot of patient "teachers" on this forum and because there are varied interests, there is usually someone who can guide you in the right direction.

    Have fun!
