My first thought was S-120 and I was wondering about the edge. Upon further evaluation, It appears to be a S-137 with the Reverse called The Sprawled Ribbon Ends variety. Nice pick up.

I think it would get the gold sticker. Great coin and holder.

Wow 'llini, that's a beauty. I'm not seein' why that coin didn't go for '65 either. Beautiful piece. Did ya pay '63 money? :)

That is one sharp looking bear. Send that baby in for a regrade.

Do you think they will strike a coin for the Red Chinese manufactured bridge they are replacing this Bay Bridge with ???

I wish I could have gotten it for MS63 money ;) But I actually paid closer to MS65 money. I was ok paying that level for the coin because that's what I think the coin is really graded, regardless of the label and the owner knew that. The only marks on the coin are a few small ticks on the largest bridge support on the reverse and there is a very light mark/scratch on the right front leg of the bear, other than that the coin is pretty clean. And the spot that appears on the lower obverse rim isn't even on the coin, it's on inside of the plastic holder. The coin has a great strike too. Can even read the time on the clock tower on the reverse :)

Also, the label itself is highly collectible as PCGS only used this "doily" label design for a very short time and not many are left in the marketplace. I've seen common MS64 Morgan Dollars that are really worth maybe $75 or so sell for $300+ just because they were in these "doily" holders. So, I will definitely never send it in for regrade because the coin is worth more money as a PCGS MS63 Doily than it would be as a new PCGS MS65.

Thanks for all of the nice comments :)

blucc3.jpg blucc4.jpg blucc.jpg These are my 1st professional photos - Todd shot them at the Sacramento ANA. They're additions to my #8 registry set. blucc2.jpg The '24 and '24-D are wildy multi-color; the '38-D is smooth and solid magenta, and the '51-D is the most visually pleasing of any of the 100+ MS67's-68's and 69's in the set. Once again, Todd has outdone himself. I'm thinking of taking more Lincolns to ANA Summer Session for Todd to work his magic.
