Yard Sale Find

    I found these in a pack they were selling at a yard sale Making Earrings out of them for 25 cents. i looked up the Lira do know its a Good find but still dont know much about them and the Swiss coins. would like some more info on them if anyone Knows

    They would make decent costume jewelry. They have no precious metal content.

    Not much value to them now. The holes devalue them.

    very common pieces usually picked up for the UK equivellent of 20cents.

    The Italian Lira are common coins that I often see in the 10/$1 or 5/$1 bins. Off the top of my head, I don't think there are any rare ones.

    Some of the Swiss 20 rappen coins are semi-valuable (none worth much after 1957 according to my Krause book). They are all nickel from at least 1901 onwards.

    Coin jewelry for some, is what they collect.
    As long as they are already holed, you may as well do finish the job and make some jewelry.
    They have little value as a collector coin.

    Tha Swiss ones would make nice jewellery.
