Spending 78c on postage to get 10c or 25c worth of coins and spam doesn't seem to be a wise notion, but that's just me. *pass*
Hehe...Not a big deal when you aren't paying for the postage yourself, getting it in the mail for me is worth it - parents pay postage, and I never mail anything anyway. Besides, they don't have my real name/e-mail to begin with...muhuhuhuh....
Ohhh I'm sure you'll get your nickel and/or quarter eventually, but you'll lose 4 cents, plus the SASE's 39 cents (CoinKid52 forgot about the SASE), all to give your name and phone number for marketing purposes. In the end, paying money (even if it's a small amount) for them to gather marketing info on you is a poor idea. Even if it is your parent's postage, heh.
Oh, well. Too late. You know, I gave them everything fake (except address, duh) and BU Quarters are worth more than 25 cents and BU Nickles are also worth more than 5 cents, according to my red book 2006. It was already sent the other day, but, I learned yet another lesson today.
I usually find $3-$10 a week just walking around the city. I can then go to any one of the 1000's of banks in the area and just ask for such and such a coin and trade in the money I find. Using my method, I end up +$3 - $10 :goofer:
