I have a penny that is over 50% misprinted. It was a 1900 penny, only the 19 is showing but barley. Just wondering if there is a market for these type of mistakes. Would appreciate any feedback from the experts.
    Thanks,

If the only visible part of the date is the first two digits how do you know it is a 1900 IHC?

    Please post photos.

That's a good point but my primary question remains so I will reword my question:

If only the first two digits of the date are visible how do you know it is a coin that was struck in 1900?

He probably meant nineteen hundred "something".... better stated as 19XX.

Could be. Another possibility is he found the coin in an original roll or bag (although I doubt that is the case and I am not even sure if banks rolled coins in 1900).
