Closest I came to a fancy serial is 20119777. Lowest # is 20110014 Highest # is 20119779 As an aside, New York, Chicago, and Kansas City in this series are sold out.
Could you possibly post the full serials and plate positions (letter/number at upper left on the face side) of all these notes? The "2011" notes from the Double Deuce Set had some pretty strange plate positions, and I'm still trying to figure out what exactly is going on there.... Thanks!
On the front side, toward the upper left, there should be a little letter and an even littler number, ranging from A1 up to H4. That's the plate position, telling you where this note came from on its original sheet.
I wonder if mine came in today. I contacted the BEP to see when the drawing was for the limited district notes: "Dear Customer, If you are one of the winners for the drawings, you will be notified by phone and/or email beginning the week of March 21st. The drawing will begin on tomorrow, March 16th."
first column is serial # 1st 4 digits of all are 2011. 2nd column is upper left front # 3rd column is lower right front # 4th column is # on back B0724D G4 G19 25 B0725D G4 G21 29 B0726D G4 G22 27 E0214D G4 G22 29 E0215D G4 G19 27 E0216D G4 G20 25 F0014D G4 G21 27 F0015D G4 G21 27 F0016D G4 G19 31 G1690D H4 H20 31 G1691D H4 H21 29 G1692D H4 H22 27 H1217D H4 H20 29 H1218D H4 H21 27 H1219D H4 H22 25 I9777D H1 H22 25 I9778D H1 H19 31 I9779D H1 H20 27 J8769D G1 G20 29 J8770D G1 G21 27 J8771D G1 G23 25 K0966D G4 G20 29 K0967D G4 G21 27 K0968D G4 G22 25 L1606D H4 H19 27 L1607D H4 H20 25 L1608D H4 H21 31
I've got some double deuces, too. I20118069D G1 G20 25 J20118069D G1 G19 29 I20118070D G1 G22 29 J20118070D G1 G21 31
Interesting. Aside from districts I and J, all of the numbers are below 2000, which is what you'd expect for a set with 2000 notes printed. And the G4 and H4 plate positions back this up; these notes seem to be the tail end of the same print runs that produced the "2008" notes (positions A1-B2), the "2009" notes (C2-D3), and the "2010" notes (E3-F4). Districts I and J have now had 7000 notes released, 5000 in the Double Deuce Set and 2000 in these single-note folders. But the numbering for those two districts appears to be different: I've never seen a number *below* 2000 for them. And the plate positions begin at A1 for the 2xxx notes and count upward from there, to H1 for the 9xxx notes, suggesting that 8000 notes per district were actually printed. My working guess had been that the Double Deuce Sets had used serials 2000 to 6999, but yours is in the 8xxx range. Looks like some of the single notes will have to have numbers lower than some of the Double Deuce Sets, if the full complement of 2000 single notes is really issued for these districts.... When the lottery notes for districts A, C, D are released, we'll have to see whether they also fit the pattern of the G4 and H4 positions, or whether they're actually a different printing for some reason. Anyway, thanks for the information! And if anybody else receives these sets, I'd appreciate getting a few more data points, too....
I think that the other three notes in the series are limited to 150 each and will be issued by lottery.
Mine arrived yesterday, with ordinary serial numbers; B20110499D G4 G22 27 E20110019D G4 G21 27 F20110796D G4 G19 29 G20111545D H4 H20 31 H20111925D H4 H22 29 I20119502D H1 H22 25 J20118175D G1 G20 27 K20110860D G4 G22 31 L20111509D H4 H20 27
I posted my single note info in Numbers thread: http://www.cointalk.com/t91198/ I'll post my double duece and lucky money serials in the next few days
I would say that seems odd, but they are not the fastest at shipping. When did you order your set? Seems like it takes about two weeks to get my orders.
Sounds right. I ordered the Lucky Money 8.8.8.set on 3/14 and have not received that yet. I figure it should show up tomorrow or Monday
