1789 1797 1st president of the united states of america raised face token

Found this on my windowsill as a kid and thought it was cool. I never really thought it was worth anything but always would fantasize that it was. Right now I am just curious what the heck it is

on the Face side it has a raise sculpture of George Washington with his name around his head. on the tails side is a shield with an eagle on it and the text 1789 1797 coin 1st president of the united states of america around it

Below the bust is some thing but I can't read it. I'll need a magnifying glass to be able to see it

I know they had coins similar to this one made at the time of his death but they were'nt copper.
