    not exactly sure maybe VG8 condition IF gradeable..looks harshly cleaned. I probably say $150ish

    F details, damaged. worth $175-$225 assuming it is real. Awefully hard to say from the images as far as authenticity goes.

    Ya I'm no expert but it appears to be real. I'm thinkin F details but definately cleaned/damaged.

    I'd say if is probably fake. The denticals are bad, the surfaces are porous, and reverse details are mushy and indistict.

    Lafayette Dollars are always mushy on the reverse details. Particularily on Lafayette's boot. I'd say this coin is real, would grade XF and has been cleaned and recolored to try and hide that fact.

    I was thinking more the mushyness around the horses head and the indistinctness of Lafayettes arm and sword and the horses tail. It isn't the missing details I'm talking about but the blurring of the edges of the devices and the fields. The more I look at it the more I think it's fake.
