I bought this Civil War token from a local coin dealer today. It's designated Fuld 46/339a and is a common R-1 variety. One outstanding feature of this token though is the huge die crack on the reverse. This has got to be one of the last pieces struck with the die before it shattered all together. The other feature worth noting is the ugliness of the portrait of Liberty...Yikes! The diesinker must have done this rendition shortly after waking up from a nightmare. I guess you might say she's a "handsome" woman, but I just say she's uuugggly. Bruce
