No idea. It's very worn out, so unless that arch thing is some kind of error, it can't be more than 10 cents. If you want, look at mint it's shiny! (BU) (I wonder if that is a filled die error on 1955...)
Hi, This is a guess, but I think it will prove to be accurate. The 1955 cent appears to be struck on a planchet that was rolled thinner on the one portion missing the details. Please let me know if the coin is thinner on that side of the coin. It is an error and is a very nice one. Nort sure what they sell for though, it has been awhile since I've sold any like that. Hi, Yes, that just solidifies my opinion. The coin was struck on a planchet that was "rolled thin" on one side. Called a tapered planchet strike , it is worth abot $3.00 to $5.00 in that condition. Have Fun, Bill
