A little above average (Price) I would say, but nothing spectacular. A nice EF+ getting a premium which it should because those silver half prices are low anyway and are soon to move up.

AU value=$265-330..but EF=$105-135 so it depends on what it's true grade is.I'd buy it for $150 though.

I would certainly disagree with the claim that the coin has never been cleaned.

I thought the same thing. Looks a little bit "too clean" for me. Wouldn't consider it a steal but a decent buy, sure.

I noticed that the seller was from Texas, so it may all depend on his definition of 'cleaned'. If you know what I mean!:kewl:

The coin has been cleaned, and I'd still give it a grade of XF-45 thru AU-50. These can be picked up for $100-$150 pretty regularly. I've got a couple in about the same condition.

It is certainly possible, but if he doesn't recognize that the coin has been cleaned then he doesn't know very much about coins.

    Wow

Your not kidding. Compared to Bust Dollars, these halves are a fraction of the price.

    Check this out.

    Hi,
That coin was definitely cleaned, Even in the pics, you can see the criss cross hairlines. The details are XF but the cleaning and the resulting damage, makes it a VF coin at best. It should not have been bought for more than about $65.00 and thats a lot for a harshly cleaned bust half of this date and type.
