    Please note the excellent Youtube discussions (three or four I believe) by Guy de la Bedoyere (who has advised Time Team amongst others) and did much to damage the thesis of this paper.
    He goes under the Title of "Classical and Ancient Civilization" with quite a few numismatically related topics, mostly Roman. I am not affiliated with him or any Youtube channel, just noticed these recently...

    One author has proposed a technical rebuttal of the encrustations argument for Koinon, and I’m looking forward to it. Will be difficult to find a qualified reader, however!

    de la Bedoyere discussed this very point as well, he is not just an anybody and much experience in the field as readers will see if they look at his videos and check his references.
