what do I have here? national currency/philadelphia PA

    photo%201[1].JPG What kind/series of $5 note to I have here? It reads philidelphia, PA 1902. It has 3 folds & a small tear, but no stains. Is this is a rare note or valueable? Please help? Thanks in advance

    Probably KL# 1149 and FR#593 (it look as though it is signed by Vernon and McClung). It's listed in the Standard Catalog of US Paper Money, VG $150, VF $350. Those values are probably inflated, though.

    Love those Nationals; I think there all rare, population wise. Scarce for a US silver dollar is a mintage of say 500,000, scarce for a National is more like 75 or so notes known to exist, with that in mind, I think a few of these should be in everybody’s collection. Nice find Brewerbonsal..........
