This is a fun area to collect. Here a couple from my collection. The first is 20 Ruble from the KHWAREZM SOVIET PEOPLES REPUBLIC dated 1338 AH/1920 AD. It contains Cyrillic legend on the obverse, and Turkic (Farsi) script on the reverse. Ironically, Khwarezm struck Soviet coinage before the Russians. The second is a 1/2 Kopek from the U.S.S.R. dated 1928. This one is a bit more scarce than many of the coins issued for the Soviet Union. It was a four-year type that was struck from 1925-1928, this one being the last issue.
