I have a bunch of world coins that I am going to auction. I have been doing research to identify the country of origin, these I know are English but have no guide to grade them. Anyone with a knowledge of Brit money want to venture a guess as to the grade or value?? There are several from 1854 to 1937, any particular year to look for??Thanks!
I have a bunch of these coins, I'm not gonna say a grade but people will want to see the other side... I see them in coin shops in that condition for $1 - $10, hope this helps
Those coins are pretty much worthless. I have TONS of them. I even listed about 100 of them ranging back to the 1700's, and they didn't even reach two dollars total on ebay.
It is possible to buy these pennies for only about 4-5 US ¢ each if they are bought in quantity. If copper keeps going up, they may even be meltable.
Maybe thats why I want to dump them, it seems older foreign coins dont have the value that U.S. coins have. I wonder why? Lack of collectors? or maybe it's the mintage numbers. I suppose just about every service man returning from WW11 brought some home with him. Well since their not worth spit I think I'll give them to the neighbor kids.
