    I love Kennedy halfs. It was one of the first series I started collecting as a kid -- and I think the reverse is one of the finest ever designed.

    That's a gorgeous 1968-S Proof. Also I remember well how the 1970-D shot up when people realized it was only released in mint sets. (I think they were running around $50 for a while in the frenzy of late 1970 and 1971).

    In the meantime, here are some type half dollars from my collection. The Draped Bust I acquired a few months ago for $350. The Capped Bust I bought last Summer for $355. And a mint set toned Franklin I bought last week for $57. Still looking for a nice Seated Liberty and Barber half at a good price (nice Barbers at a good price are hard to find). I have several Walking Liberty halfs but none nice enough to photograph.

    Yeah and i paid 10 bucks for the kennedy, slabbed ms69 :p

    That frakling is just omg breath taking, ive never like the franklins till now, god all mighty.
