Well there is always the ongoing persecution of the "Liberty Coin" folks. :rollling:

Nothing of the kind was intended. I was just wondering if it is save to buy these. It's a simple design and of cheap material, so with a value of USD 140 I could image there are a lot of forgeries/remakes out there (that's why I never dared to buy one online. I simply don't know enough about Russian coins)

Strange that they are so pricy in Germany then, if they are just medals. And they are not so difficult to get either. Still they are usually above 300 Euros.

 

Cannot really see the details on there, but if that's a 1942, I am lost for words....... Congratulations!

 

sorry on re-checking the reverse image it is the 1941, i paid the enormous sum of 10 pence for it in a bargain box along with a gold ottoman empire coin.

Nice condition for a zinc coin! So while this may not have been the bargain of the century, it sure was a bargain.
