1957 Red Cent

Found a red cent in an old roll of pennies. I am wondering if this is all natural or artificial toning? I've never seen a penny quite this red.

For starters, that looks like a '56, not a '57. Looks like it's almost a crimson red color?

I found a 1975 red cent in my change yesterday:


The scan doesn't do it justice, it's a very nice copper color, looks like new.

 

sweet. I get a lot of canadian change whenever I go to Michigan lol
