I had heard rumor that there was a new book soon being published on the subject of Hard Times Tokens . I also had heard that Steve Tannenbaum was assisting in this publication before he untimely demise . If anyone has the true title and publisher information for this book , please let me know. I would like to hear some feedback from those members who study and collect U.S. Tokens and Medals as to which current available reference material you find most helpful . Thanks .

Hmm, I'd be interested to get that book too. I have gotten into Hard Times Tokens quite a bit lately.

I know Steve was a contributing source in this publication. I just can't recall what the true title was . Hopefully someone can refresh my brain. Some days , I can't recall what I did ten minutes ago.

You might try the Krause site coinman (Numismaster.com?). They usually market the exonumia books as does Rich Hartzog. Russ Rulau told me awhile back that he had an update of his Hard Times token book coming out "soon", but I haven't seen anything advertised yet. I think it's going to be an e-book, not a hard copy like his others. I collect tokens, but mostly counterstamps so I use Brunk and Rulau.

I believe you are correct in that it is being published by Krause , but I haven't been able to find it there.
