1964 Kennedy Half

Thinking of price value?

we do have the same problem about the price value of an error kennedys, mine is a RAISED SUNKEN DIE CRATERS VARIETY. my partner said to me one time, let me have that kennedy half dollar i will teach you how much the value of it.I ask her what she gonna do for it. She said I will buy some candy for it. (Grrrr. urgh.!)

My 2 cents

Kennedy half ether you like them or hate them. I have been collecting them since Feb of 1964.but worth is hard to apply most 64-P&D won't grade above MS-63-64 as they were struck so fast in1964.
but if you can get a 1964 P or D that grades MS-66/67 it can be a big money coin.

I went through a big box of proof 1964 halves that I had laying around and I found 4 of the transitional pieces with the broken rays on the reverse but the I was intact on the obverse and the hair looked like the normal hair.

 

How many halves would you estimate in the box? 100, 50?
