Why would a dealer spend $5,000 on one item. That is like 250 proof sets.

We do this in order to save money. Every cent saved is one earned.

Can you really sell 250 proof sets of 1 year in a year?
    thanks

If we couldn't, I would still be working for someone else.

Lets say you sell a $5 coin to a dealer. He pays you $4 and resells it for $6. Do most dealers put down what coins they bought and what they paid or do they just put a sticker on the coin and forget about it? Do most dealers use computer programs to keep track of the coins they have? If so, which ones?
    thanks

All of the dealers I know use some form of accounting software. We use excel spreadsheets for our inventory. Makes it easy for us, and it also allows us to upload hundreds of coins onto our website at a time.
