tlasch, from the picture, I'd call it a F-15 scudzy coin (scudzy is an EAC term meaning problems). CQR pricing is $15. Anything over that is generous.
Dont fret because i was still outbid, somebody has a one click bid on it so i believe you will get a reasonable price for it, somebody sure wants it!
It is a good improvement and should raise the ending price for you. Congrats on your start as an eBay seller. I have had a lot of fun selling on eBay over the years, there is always something new to learn!
Hey Tlasch: I kinda like that coin now that you've added the new pics. I'm currently the high bidder.
Lol Advertising was not my goal but I guess it kind of happened. I was just worried I listed it wrong or didn't properly make the ad appealing and now it's something I am not afraid of letting go for (But I'd rather have more for it!) (It was at $0.99 when I posted this and I was like THERE IS NO WAY I WILL LET IT GO FOR .99!!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO BUY ANYTHING ON EBAY FOR .99 THOUGH
Indeed just wishing my other item will go higher *FINGERS CROSSED* I did the same for my 3 Cent nickel and there is few time left and its at $6.95 with a buyer that has a 0 feedback score. NO NO NO
Agreed. I think you could have done better with better images. And you should be able to get better images with your scanner. 1. Take them OUT of the 2x2. 2. Use a black or dark grey background of non-reflective material. A piece of kid's construction paper is good. Copper works best without a white background. The light reflected from a white background makes the coin look like a dark disk. You want as much of the light as possible to come from the coin's surface. The dark background isn't as critical with nickel, silver or gold coins. But I still recommend using one.
