Good afternoon fellow collectors, Today I was at a auction and bought die filled error coin. Even with it´s large ammount of circulation marks. It´s still the best one with die filled error I have found so far. Siggi
Thanks abe, It´s missing almost as you say 50% +. There was one other coin on the auction that had the same start price but it was a PMD. It was so obvious that I almsot cracked up. I often get the feeling I will never cover the bases of errors and that i'm learning very little even after reading the same books over and over again and then you see a PMD and go HA !. You know you have learned something. I think if I can master the errors I will be much better at mastering grading.
Merlin the clip has what is called the Blakesley effect. That helps determin that it is a real clip error so nice find The second could be a filled die. And the third has a 1 missing and that would be a filled die as well. But then again i´m learning and I can be wrong hehe
