    30 BWR. 12 pre-1960 including a 1939 and a 1944 d war nickel. Also, one .999 canadian and a couple of BU from the 2000's.

Gypsy, Inquisitive, Moonshine.....WOW. What is going on. For the longest time it seemed like silver was drying up and there are some monster finds lately. Congrats. It makes me ichin to go searchin tomorrow.

Today I opened a 2nd box that I picked up yesterday. Skunkarooni.

I cannot even guess as to the total amount ai have searched. But it really needs to be counted as number of coins instead of face value. 2500 cents in a box takes longer than 2500 quarters or halves as dimes not only because of size, but the greater number of varieties and errors to look for.

Yes, I imagine over the course of a year, I as well as many others here look at a lot of coins !

I recently read an article at the CONECA website where a father and daughter had searched 1.5 million cents and listed their results

Man, I never land scores like these, that's just bananas. I hate roll-searching around Philly, I really do. :(

I did a box of nickels today, 1 '44-P and 1 dateless buff, my first in quite a while. Also a few Canadians.

Box of dimes as well, that yielded one lonely '64.

    Then a box of cents, I didn't compile a complete list, as I forgot, but what I remember off the top of my head;

    '10
    '20-S (Hole filler, yay!)
    '29
    '34
Then about 6 '40's and 8 '50's, including a '53 that was mostly RD with a harsh, harsh spot of corrosion right over the 19 in the date. Shame, as it ruined what as a great find for me. :(

Boxes have NOT been good to me recently. That full roll of silver has definitely lifted my spirits though!

So I picked up my first rolls of halves today. Took a lot of banks to get my $180 in halves. So for silver purposes I'm looking for dates '64-'70 correct?

Correct, anything 1963 or earlier you can send to me, I'll pm you my addy. :p

I don't think I'm gonna search anything today, there's a huge coin auction going down at an auction house near me tomorrow and I want to have as much cash as possible for it.

    64 and older= 90% halves
    65-70= 40% halves
some s mint marked coins (76 and 1990--i think-- and forward) CAN be silver
    error...

Thinks man. I'm actually a collector first and a silver hunter second. So if I find a half, nonKennedy, I'll be pretty excited. I'll post my results when done.

Finally was able to pickup a Dansco for the Ikes and go through them. Filled a bunch of the common dates and there were also 2 proofs in the bunch. I put the other 185 coins up on ebay.

I've been looking at this thread for a little while, but still can't figure out some of these acronyms you guys use. CWR for example.

So I gave in and went and got a box of cents anyway. Going through it now, but I think I just found a '22-D in a roll.
