The following item came today in an e-mail entitled "Idiot Sighting'. Sure, it is silly but it make me chuckle. The rest of the "Idiot Sightings" are below:
My mom used to live in New Mexico and almost every time she would call Southwest to book a flight back to California they would remind her to bring her Passport.
Ladasha is just too funny for me. Thanks for the humor Hobo. On a side note, you live in Colorado Spring, CO please tell me you don't work @ the VZW call center lmao
One of my favorites..... a tv celebrity was out for dinner with her husband and friends when she was asked if she wanted some buffalo wings. She replied " I don't eat buffalo!"
Money related..... My staff is somewhat trained to bring me coins and notes from the till that they are not sure about. This way I get to pick up older notes, silver and foreign coins at face value. One day last fall, one of the servers asked me if I wanted a $10 bill that had the King on it. I said sure. She handed me a U.S. note. I said, "That's not a Canadian bill with a king. That's a president." She snidely replies, "The president looks after the country when the King isn't here!" I said, "We have a Queen.... Queen Elizabeth II." She replies, "The King.....the Queen's husband!" I left it at that. She's in her third year at University.
Alexander Hamilton who appears on the US $10.00 note was never president. He was Secretary of the Treasury.
I love it HoBo...but for a moment i thought you may have gone over to the paper side of things... RickieB
