That is a coronation medal; don't know whether it's the real thing or some kind of copy though. The text HOMAG· BEROL· means Homage in Berlin. And "Veritati et Iustitiae" means something like "To Truth and Justice". The date had me confused ... "3 AUG MDCCXI", ie. 1711, did not really make much sense. Hmm, maybe the I is an L ... ah yes, 1740. That is when Frederick became king of Prussia.
