Hi All, I JUST found this while searching a box of cents from the bank. Could anyone tell me about it? The "S" is nearly touching the 9. Also, "In God We Trust looks" wonky to me, especially "We". The W and E don't seem to be lined up properly. Sorry about the poorly lit photo, I can post better photos tomorrow if need be.

    Thanks in Advance!
    Mark

For early cents like that, the mint marks were punched into the die seperately, so they won't be exactly the same from die to die. I have quite a few examples of this I have found while searching. I do see what you mean about the WE though. It almost looks crooked. Not sure what that could be though.

Here are 3 different 37s with different mm locations.

    Thanks EEW,
it looks closest to the second one you posted but the WE still looks different to me. Is it rare?
Is it a specfic varitey? I'm just so happy I finally found something out of the ordinary while roll searching.

    Thanks!

This photo is a little better. Is this a "rare" die? It's the first time Ive seen it. Any info about it would be helpful.

    Thanks in Advance!
