My girlfriend gave me a set of all different years of different coins. I was wondering if anybody would like to tackle a grade for each coin (at least the older ones) so I can sticker them onto the case.

Also, I have a question on the peace dollar... there's an extra piece of metal on the edge... possible CUD? or is it too minor?

And yes... you can tell me to shove it (since there are a total of 23 coins and a total of 47 pictures... but they are about 30kb each, not too large in that way)... but i would at least like to know your opinions on the peace dollar at least *L*

    any feedback would be appreciated.

whisk me away to the pics

With so many coins to figure out I would suggest you get a copy of some coin books and begin trying to sort them out by denomination, condition, values, etc. More than likely the Red Book on coins. However, if you don't want to spend the money you could watch for garage/yard sales, estate sales and even flea markets for older issues of coin books. the prices would be outdated but the information about your coins would still be valid. Then approach forums like this one with only the coins you are having trouble grading yourself. Actually if you study enough you may be the one helping others.

Is that a copper-plated 1943? If it is genuine, I may have to steal your girlfriend... Just Kidding!
What is the deal with the 1979 SBA? Is it a bad pic or is the Is the righrt side in the obverse pic cut off?

thanx for the advice... i guess i should probably invest in a coin book of sorts.

The 1943 is steel... just the lights in my room are red and i can't adjust the white balance enough... and the SBA isn't off center, just a bad pic.

I'd guess the peace dollar at AU55 or so. As for the metal - I think it looks like finning that has been folded over. I'll try to get to the rest of the coins later on.

    Birthday Idea For Kids

Actually kids are very moody so we should give them such a gift that could actually make them happy. So I always try to give them different thing which amuse them the most. So I also suggest you to give them a puzzle for the gift. It will be very interesting for them.
