Poor George gets no respect but I just purchased 3 of them from an ad in the back of one of my magazines a couple of weeks ago. I received those and ordered another 3 yesterday so the offer is still good. Go to iccoin.com/deals Then go to Quick order and fill out the form using Dept. N5141. The item # is 13503. (Qty 3 but they may let you order 6) They will sell you 3 of them for $29.85 with free shipping. That's about $8.46 under melt. It's just an on line order form. You don't have to speak with any human. Just be careful what contact info you give them because I assume they will want to call for to discuss future purchases. I have no affiliation I'm just passing along a good deal.

I looked, it was one for $29, melt is 12. Maybe they changed the ad?

Nope, I think you did something wrong. I just checked and it's 1 for $10.95 or 3 for $29.85 ($9.95.00 ea) with free shipping. Make sure you enter the Dept. # and item # I provided. Make sure you change the quantity to 3 to get the deal.
    * I see what you did. You clicked on the commemorative button on the left side. You have to click on Quick Order (top middle) and enter in the info I provided on the screen that comes up.

Nice. Thanks for the tip. I bought 3. I know you can at least order 5. I did 5 at first, and it was going to let me, but I changed my mind and ordered 3.

Ok, It worked, I got 3. Great deal, thanks for the heads up.
It reminds me of the time littleton accidentally listed 07-W eagles at the base price, the next day they jumped 50 bucks, after several cointalkers got orders in.
i just checked Coinflation.com, and melt for 3 is $38.31 right now.

when i change the quantity to 3 it just multiples the 29.85 by three. i entered the same item number on 3 lines of the form and got it to work that way. Thanks for the tip, 3 on the way!

I wonder though why you get the discount ordering this way and not the regular way? is this a promotion??

Yes it was a promotion from the back of a magazine. I received the 1st 3 I ordered pretty quickly. They were well packaged and came in airtights. My wife just ordered 6 more for me. I wonder how long until they run out?

Ah, now they've changed their ad to reflect the promotion. good question on the sale. I might order some more but the ad now says "strict limit of three per household"

I also ordered six (6), despite that it says clearly that the limit is three (3). They charged me just $9.95 for each of the six. They even sent an email to confirm the order.

Even if there is some sort of problem, a credit card will back up your purchase. If you have an order confirmation that clearly states the price, and they either don't deliver, deliver the wrong item, or change the price on you, your credit card will protect you.

And their prices on proof sets 70-79 are way over what I can get them for locally.

Well I tried and all I get is $13.50 Ea. or $ 40.50 for 3. Deal must have expired.

Yes, it seems the sale is gone, over, kaput. Just three hours ago, I ordered at the lower price, but now even with entering the department code, the price is $13.50 each. Oh, well, it was good while it lasted.

In Nov, and Dec, I was scarfing these up on ebay for an avg of $6-$7. I call them my 'Rodney Dangerfield' coins. These were still in the $7-$8 range on the 'bay in late Dec/early Jan....then they started going up, up, up. Bought bunches of them, both in proof and unc, didn't matter. Now, at the prices they are fetching, I'm glad I got them when I did...when noone cared about them. Funny thing is, all other 90% silver coins were reflecting rapid price growth, while these were pretty much flying under the radar. SUPER glad I picked up as many as I did.

Though, I see the deal does reflect $13.50 ea now......not a chance of that happening.

once a good deal gets posted on cointalk, the site usually gets a bunch of orders, checks the facts, and changes the availability.
