I recently noticed this 1943-s steel penny had a double looking "S" stamp and double 4 and 3? I looked online for any such coin with no luck! has any one seen this before or even heared of it? is their any value to this coin or is it just another case of MD? thank you for all advice and help!

That might be a genuine 1943 copper cent. ($$$$$)
Looks a little bit suspicious though.

I think it's just a MD, but I'm not an error expert.

Ok, that ends that belief, but now i'm thinking. If only one small area is doubled, then it has to be MD. Why isn't the entire date doubled?

I doubt it or else I have one (and this is just an inversion of color after changing the tone to green from steel)

I need to remember that the steel rusts after years of circulation.
