I ran across this today. I can see it's an 1893. I am thinking about submitting it for bottom pop. This coin is nice because tho it is in very low condition it has absolutely no problems. Anyone want to hazard a guess as to grade?

I will go AG-3 because there is very little detail left, still a great coin by the way!!

I believe Fair (2) and PO (1) is Poor.

bottom population for lowball sets where people compete for lowest graded coins.

Not sure what it would grade, probably FR02 give or take a point ;) But I do think it's pretty cool looking!

Reverse is definitely a 1. Obverse might be a 2. Worth sending in for the lowball set IMO.

That sounds like a new one.

    Fascinating.

I suppose there wasn't enough meat left on the coin to verify its authenticity. Not sure I've ever heard of a fake Columbian though.
