Maybe this is more like it. 1939-S. Ther was no toning on the bottom of the obverse when I bought this. Sunlight - believe it or not Mr. Ripley - discolored it in the four hours it was peeking out of the bag before I got it home.
I don't have a full set of Merc's. I have a short set (1941-1945) of raw coins (Unc) and a few others. But what I DID do was get some of the keys.
Oh....I'm going to like this thread! Your guys' Mercs are beautiful but I like the circulated varieties! How about a couple of semi-keys? 21-D from Gramp's collection handed down to me: 31-D...took forever to find for some reason... I just like the look of this one: I'll post more of my complete (except the key) collection. Until then, I'll sit back and enjoy the thread.
