Hello. I have come across a 1757 GOLD ESCUDO COIN.

On the front it reads- NOMINA MAGNA SEQUOR
On the rear it reads- 1757-FERDIND-VI-D-G-HISPAN-ETIND-REX

Here is a link to the coin I have:

    http://www.coindatabase.com/coin_detail_pesetas.php?cdb=K210901

MY COIN DOES NOT HAVE THE "J" AND THE "I" EITHER SIDE OF THE CREST ON THE FRONT.

I am new to coin collecting and was wondering if somebody could put a rough value on it?

    Many Thanks. Joe

Can you post a picture of the coin you actually have ? Not a picture of one you think is like yours - but a picture of YOUR coin.

You have look closely at the small details of the design. In particular look at the denticles on yours. You should see a vast difference.
