English coin bracelet is a WWII bringback

    This is a bracelet my dad brought back from the war. He gave to his then girl friend who he ended up getting married to and I am the second of three children. The coins are all Three Pence and the dates range from 1899 (Queen Victoria through King Edward to King George) to 1920.

    Very nice! Did he bring spare ones to bake into the Christmas pudding? A British tradition was to do that with silver 3d coins, and then the one who found the coin whilst eating is was considered lucky! (Unless he swallowed it!)

    I didn't know that. can you see the photos? I did something today trying to delete a photo from a post and now I can't see any of the photos on any post I've made.

    Yes, I see the photos! Sometimes I can't see certain pics when viewing from work, but can see all at home. Your pics I can see from work too.

    In any case, I like them!
