Morgan Head.jpg Morgan tail.jpg This coin looks uncirculated to me but can you guys grade it and say how it is worth. It was my Great Grandfathers, who died in the 80's. Thank you.:smile Morgan tail.jpg Morgan Head.jpg

I am by far a coin expert. But it looks cleaned to me. Several times. see the dark areas in the 8 and 9 and the overall dull finish? The breast of the Eagle is really worn smooth as well.
Please let me know if I am correct or not.

Cleaned XF... I see no luster. Sorry :(

If it's some comfort, it's a coin in that grade that trades pretty close to, or at Bullion value regardless, so in this case I don't think the coins value was hurt by this cleaning, HOWEVER! Had that been a date that carries a premium the cleaning would knock it's value probably in half, at least.

For future reference... Please don't clean your coins!

It's an XF. Contains just over 3/4 ounce of silver. Melt value is around $25-$26.
