Ok guy,s this is going to be a tuff challenge!! no more Mr. Nice Guy! :) LOL

This note will test your grading skill,s to the Max!

Series 692 $20, I can tell you this note is a cross grade and has been
Graded both by PCGS and PMG

In order to win this challenge you will need to correctly tell me what each
Grading service gave it, maybe the same or could be different this goes
For the PQ designation as well so guess carefully remember 1 guess only!
If we have more then one winner names will be thrown in to a hat!
    Contest ends 3/4/11

    Please PM me your answer!

    Good Luck!

Bold colors, decent margins, faces up well, but center-fold is more prominent viewed from the back. Paper looks to be totally original.

Rusty, have you seen any cases where the notes have been minimally trimmed to improve the corners?

No i havent really seen that but if some one did try and do that it would be easily
Detectable by a TPG and would greatly reduce the value!

PM Sent. I agree with krispy, I enjoy these a great deal and they have been increasing my knowledge of the differences between PMG and PCGS. Thanks again.

Here are my comments, i really think this note was a bit under graded personally especially by
PMG to give it only a VF35 the only real problem is the center fold which is very lite and really
Doesnt come to the front side the note has good centering and excellent eye appeal!! really
Bright colors and the corners are really decent as well, if i were to grade this note i would
    Say atleast a EF45 !!

Look for the next note to be graded this weekend if i get a chance tomorrow!
    Great work everybody!!

    WOO HOO !!
Thanks for the grading challange Rusty....most generous of you.
I have a friend (FRANK) , that teaches a class called The Young Notables. They are young currency collectors in a classroom enviroment. The kids are 4th & 5th graders and use currency donated by myself, and other memebers of the Collectors Universe Forum, and they will LOVE whatever you send. They have Large-Size, Small-Size, MPC's, Obsoletes, and World Notes.
I'll get Franks address for you, and I would prefer to stay anonymous.

Thanks again to Rusty, and everybody that participated.

Congrats Steve! I have to agree Rusty, I thought that they would have graded higher than that since there was only the one fold I noticed in the middle. XF is generally 3 light folds, so I thought since the one wasn't horrible that it would have graded higher. Anyway, I'm learning a lot about what makes a note a certain grade for these companies, so please continue with the contests...

Ahhh!!! Now I see the corner fold!

Congrats Steve and Thanks Rusty!!!!! Really nice that you donated the notes to kids Steve! My sister teaches young kids and I gave her quite a few pieces to use for her money subject that she covers.

Very Good Experience to give grading notes a go!
