I've been waiting for this to arrive from a friend in London. It has to be one of the coolest sets of modern coins out there.

Sweet - much better than U.S. modern. What did it cost?

    Thanks H8

It didn't cost me anything, a good friend in London sent it to me. I owe him a beer the next time he comes to the states, not a bad deal at all!

    Thanks!
These aren't Comms that the best part! We were in Northern Ireland last year and I received a 2 pence and a 50 pence in change. (top right corner of the photo and center bottom).

Beautiful, I remember seeing photos of these types when they came out.... and I wanted a set from first sight, even thought I rarely collect modern coins these days. Very nice set, a beauty, such a great design, very clever.

It really is, it's so nice to see something so imaginative these days.

moneyer12 i just love UK coins.......

they are the definitive isue from the UK now and hae replaced the heraldic designs of the previous set. the pound coins depicts the full shield which you see when you lay the other coins out on the table. anyone else who wants one but unfortunately they are loose and not in a folder, drop me a line.
