alaska coin

I found this cleaning up my room. I bought it a while ago (1999) when i wasn't really into collecting coins. I got it just as a memory for going to alaska. My question is this... what is it exactly? There is no face value (ie one dollar). And curios as to what it's worth.

A silver round with an alaska design on it I would think.

As a reminder of an enjoyable trip (at least mine was ) its priceless. As something to sell - probably 80% of the spot price of silver since it most likely contains one ounce.

 

well no i could never sell it. i guess i was just curious if it collects value at all.

 

but yeah... it was one hell of a trip. it's where i celebrated my 21'st b'day, in anchorage!!! There were soooo many bars *L*
