My girlfriend's mother works for a local grocery company. Once a week she goes through all the registers or drawers or whatever. She picks out coins and the occational bill out for me. I've gotten a few silver coins, lots of wheats, a red seal five, and some currency before 1960. Today she brought me a 1934C $10 Silver Certificate. Not exactly pristine, but still a cool find. It already has a spot in my collection. Sorry about the cell phone picture. I don't have my printer/scanner installed on my new computer yet.
Amazing.... these blue and red seals showing up in circulation always amazes me, and I instantly think of daddy's collection being pinched. Nice find, especially for a note that's been in use since the late 40's.
