hey guys got a Question so i have a pretty good condition 1891 Morgan silver dollar but it has no mint mark! My question is how did this happen? Does it raise or lower the price? Ive been told that a 1891 Silver dollar in this condition should be worth any where for $200-2000 depending on the person but that was before I could not find the mint mark. I checked where it should be but there nothing there, It looks like there was nothing there in the first place. Can someone please help me out.
Your Morgan Dollar was struck in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Mint did not use a mintmark until relatively recently.
