Was attributing some of my large cents this evening, and discovered I have an 1827 R-3. Nice surprise.

Unfortunately, I also discovered I got snookered on grades on some of the first ones I bought, but I guess it happens.

We all get snookered on grading at times Mr. Coin, especially when we first start collecting or we buy into a series that we're not experienced in. Would love to see a pic of your 1827 and some others. Do you have any Half Cents?

Bruce, will try to get some photos up. I'm new to the photography thing. I have about 75% of the late date large cents plus a couple others. I have three half cents. Just bought a stunning 1855 AU-58 and an 1850 in AU.

Can't wait to see them Mr. Coin. It sounds like you have a great collection. At one time I had about 40 or so Half Cents, many of them Uncs. Unfortunately I had to sell them several years ago, but just recently decided to start collecting them again. I never had too many Large Cents, I always spent my money on the "little sisters".

    Here's a recently acquired 1855, graded AU-58 by PCGS. I think I need a new camera.
