I have gone to various banks and am always told the same old story.

"We don't get any new coins and we don't order special coins, what we get and supply are business wrap of circulated coins".

In all my roll searching I have found very few 2009 & not one 2010 nickel or dime. Is this some kind of conspiracy to make you go to coin dealers or heaven forbid E-Bay.

'09's are hard to come by here but '10's are a plenty.
Just wait a while and some will show up. :)

2010 cents, nickles and dimes are plentiful here in Ohio. D's included, I got a box of Denver cents at the bank a couple days ago. Quarters are another story, I've only found a couple D.C. quarters from the '09's and zero ATB's. Oh yeah, the '09 nickels and dimes are very scarce around here too.

I HAVE found all the presidential dollars P & D in circulation though, all the way to Lincoln!

  7. I know that a lot of the ATB quarters are being held in DC, because they have enough quarters in circulation

Same story here. I have found a ton of 2010 dimes, no 2010 nickels, and no 2009 nickels/dimes.
No ATBs, but lots of Guams and DC and a Puerto Rico just in my change

Just be patient. Remember how everyone was hoarding all the 2009s that were supposed to be so rare and scarce? You know, the ones you find in circulation now?

I wish I could say the same..I am finding 2010's all day long but 09's would be like finding an 1909-s V.D.B

Like most others said, I see the 2010 nickels and especially dimes and pennies all the time here in Illinois, and some of the quarters. I'm still looking for about half of the 2009 quarters and had to buy my dimes and nickels on eBay. I actually bought a roll of dimes a few months back thinking I'd try roll searching, and was very disappointed to find they were all 2010s.

I felt like a little roll searching last week so I went into a Chase bank here in the city and requested $20 worth nickels. I was handed $20 of shiny, bank wrapped 2010-P nickels. No fun in that, I returned them and went to another branch. 2010-P Dimes are a dime a dozen in change as well. Banks here are flush with them. In fact the 2010 nickels and dimes are more prevalent than 2010 shield cents around here, currently / in my experience.

2009 and 2010 quarters, territories and parks, are easy to come by as well.

It's the 2009 cents that remain ellusive, but none more so than 2009 nickels and dimes for me.

2010 Cents, Nickels, and Dimes are very plentiful here in Upstate New York. I save every one that I find (up to more than one hundred now). I am still yet to find a quarter, Prez dollar, or NA dollar yet.

That is a legit question. It took me forever to find them. The Lincolns are out there, and quarters show up here and ther. But yes, nickels and dimes seem to be a tad more scarce.

Not way up here in Upstate NY! In fact, the nickels are more common than the cents! The dimes are found pretty occasionally. 2010's started turning up in my area around June of last year.
