i inheirated? some coin collections from my grandmother recently. 1 collection was of canadian pennies which is pretty full from 1933 to about 1970 with only 3-4 missing and from 2000 up i need almost all to fill the book. my question is where can i get canadian pennies in the usa? i've searched about 5 boxes of pennies and get 10-14 canadians per box but not what i need....and i live in minnesota..... my bank needs $30.00 per box plus shipping and won't take the ones i don't want back.
    any ideas?

Any relatives in Canada? Try your local coin shop or Ebay rolls.

If you'd like to list the cents you are missing, I have collected Canadian change for years and have about 30-40 dollars in change (mostly cents). I would love to help you out =D

I grew up in Detroit - we saw Canadian pennies all the time.

I have a '67, '00, '07 and '10. If you want to PM an adress, I am more than happy to send them to you.

You can also scour yard sales, flea markets, and local auctions. Look especially for box lots. You can pick these up cheaply.

I too have been on the lookout for Canadian pennies however living in Germany they are a little difficult to find. I've been looking on Ebay but I still don't like buying from there.
