This coin only has a hint of a number after the 199. Possibly it is a 3 but cant really tell. The rest of the date is very visiable. There is also a partial railroad rim on the side closest to the date. My question is Whate do I call this and does it have any value at all.
Looks like a clogged die (struck through grease). Please explain what you mean by partial railroad rim and post a GOOD photo of the edge if possible.
I am sorry, it is the best photo with my equip. It appears the coin is off center, leaving a double rim on the same side as the plugged die. On further inspection it appear there may be doubling along the forehead and nose. I am wondering if It should be sent to Wexler for clarification. If you have any suggestions, really need them. Thanks
