1942 mercury mint mark

    I have had this coin for a few years sitting in a jar. I pulled out the jar yesterday to put it up for sale and found I could not read the mint mark. Has anyone seen a mint mark like this one before. 1964 dime 009.jpg

    Those are the initials of Adolph Weinman, the designer. The mint mark is on the reverse

    Yep... check the location circled. "D" for Denver, "S" for San Fran, no mark for Philly.
